Tell City Hall pay workers fairly

By refusing to pay workers fairly, the City of Calgary is putting critical public services at risk: clean water, transit safety, summer festivals, and more. 

As the cost of living continues to skyrocket, the workers who provide these services are falling behind. Their contract is up for renewal, but the City of Calgary refuses to offer a fair deal. 

Now, it’s up to us to tell the City of Calgary that we expect these critical services to run without interruption and that we expect the workers who provide these services to be paid fairly. Mayor Jyoti Gondek, Chief Administrative Officer David Duckworth, and the rest of City Hall need to understand that Calgarians support City Workers and that we can’t afford a workers’ strike that would disrupt the services we count on.
